Kate McDonough joined Rheumatology Associates, Ltd., in 2020.  She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology.  Dr. McDonough will be a member of the consulting staff at Abington Health-Lansdale Hospital and Einstein Medical Center Montgomery.

Dr. McDonough completed a B.A. in psychology at the University of Delaware. She then completed her medical school training at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA where she was a member of the Sigma Sigma Phi honor society.  After medical school, she completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Lankenau Medical Center in Wynnewood, PA and fellowship training in Rheumatology at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ.

Dr. McDonough has an interest in musculoskeletal ultrasound and completed a training program through the Ultrasound School of North American Rheumatologists (USSONAR). She has case reports published in peer-reviewed journals. She is a member of the American College of Rheumatology and Philadelphia Rheumatism Society.
